Pre-Upload Audio Check

YouTube Audio Check

Drop a file. We run all five pre-upload checks against YouTube targets in one go — stereo, loudness, true peak, dynamic range, clipping, and bitrate — so you know whether to upload or fix it first.

How to use

  1. Drag a file in, or click the dropzone to choose one.
  2. Click Analyze. ffmpeg.wasm loads once, the file is mounted once, and all five checks run on the same pass — typical 5-minute files take under 30 seconds.
  3. Read the per-check verdict. Anything not pass links to its dedicated tool for a closer look.

What this checks

YouTube normalizes loudness to roughly -14 LUFS, so far-from-target masters get re-leveled and may sound dull. We also flag clipping, narrow dynamic range, low bitrate, and dual-mono — the four issues that survive (or get worse through) YouTube's re-encode.

Each verdict reuses the same engine as the standalone tool — see the deep links below for full metric breakdowns and timestamp lists.
